Around 300 carefully restored vehicles from 1927 al 1957 compete for three days on the Brescia-Roma-Brescia trail in a regularity rally in common, open-traffic roads.

The first edition took place in 1927. Nowadays it involves the whole city, with thousands of tourists that reach Brescia for this unique occasion. Formula 1 racers, artists, VIPs and aristocrats from all over the world will exchange their opinions on the track and comment on the possible rankings of these vehicles as they will traverse the country.

 

Automobile checks are particularly interesting, since they take place in Brescia’s historical streets and squares.

 

All cars must be original and feature no modern mechanical parts. They are the embodiment of the connection between speed and legend.

 

Major models by Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Fiat, Audi, Bmw, Bugatti, Maserati and Aston Martin are displayed in Brescia, followed by several fans, coming from collectionists’ garages and institutional exhibition galleries by the largest manufacturers.

 

In occasion of this race, local businesses, restaurants and private houses will display flags, pictures and sometimes rare collector items that are related to the Mille Miglia and its Italian and foreign guests.

 

Ninety years after its first run, the Mille Miglia continues to grow: thousands of visitors from all over the world follow this event, which allows the city to propose the wonders of Italian ingenuity and hospitality.
