From a director’s assistant to travel blogger, although the journey didn’t happen overnight. 30 years old from Bolzano, I’ve always had a passion for travelling and began working as an entertainer in touristic villages before attending the Accademia di Spettacolo Romana. From 2007, I worked as a director’s assistant at Rai3 on the program “Alle Falde del Kilimangiaro”, which brought on many trips and a new YouTube channel: “I Viaggi di Ale – Alessandro Marras”. I found myself between this new television experience and the evolution of the web and social media and so eventually began working with airline companies, international hotel chains, and more. With more videos being produced on my YouTube channel, I began working with tourism boards and the projects kept on coming. The best is yet to come!

I’m studying for a masters in Digital Marketing for Tourism and Events Management at the Bologna Business School and am also an intern at a Tourism Web Marketing company in Rimini. When I’m not on Instagram, you’ll find me out and about creating stories.

I’ve been passionate about food since I was 7 years old. I’ve always been curious to learn new recipes from my mom and grandmother, and the curiosity didn’t end there. Chasing my passions have taken me to new desinations and I spent a few years in London working as a barista trainer among 5 star hotels and Jamie Oliver’s restaurants. It was there I opened my horizons and began experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. In 2015, after returning from a few months studying in Paris, I opened a YouTube channel to interact with a broader public and share what I’ve learned over the years in the kitchen. Starting with recipe videos, people seemed to like what they saw and my channel grew rather quickly.

After being away for too long, I realized I needed to return to my home in Alto Adige and in 2016, I left my job and dedicated myself entirely to the world of food. Meeting with manufacterers, recipe video mini-series, showcooking, and cooking classes were all new challenges and this past year has grown to include travels and events. I absolutely love uncovering new destinations, new people, and new traditions.

Federica, 24 years old from Udine, I graduated in Cultural Tourism. I’ve been a travel blogger since 2013, when I opened my blog travelliAMO along with a page on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I’m dependent on my smartphone and social media and I love nature, food, art, and great views. With a passion for writing, storytelling, and photography, I’m always ready to go with a smile and I can never forget the reflex around my neck. I aim to tell stories, share, and inspire travel in this beautiful world.

Davide Oricchio

Davide Oricchio, 23 years old, from Rome. I’m currently studying Tourism and Languages at the University La Sapienza in Rome. Instagram for me started as a hobby, a way to tell the stories of my city or the places I went. It began with a smartphone until I finally bought a reflex camera and the quality of my photos started improving. With this app I’ve found an outlet for two of my biggest passions: traveling and photography.
