Today we present Professor Tino Bino, a local politician, writer, and university professor.
If you could describe Iseo with 3 adjectives, what would they be?
Simple, isolated, and refined.
What do the instagramers have to photograph?
The Parish of Iseo, a small piazza with three churches with completely different scales. It’s proof that beauty can sometimes be a bit unproportionate.
What experience can you not miss in Iseo?
Sitting at the port on the lake during the sunset… Sometimes it feels like you could just reach out and touch the sun before it slips over the horizon.
What do you think about the #inLombardia365 project, which aims to open Lombardy to the world?
It’s an ambitious project and very useful to showcase the various locations and their specialties.
What does Franciacorta mean to you?
Franciacorta is a land whose wine culture has been developed over the last 30 years and has since become a mark of excellence. The landscapes are designed around the vineyards, and it’s clear the area benefits from the major investments to maintain the product.
What do you miss the most about Iseo when you’re away?
For those that live on the lake, it’s hard to leave the atmosphere that can’t be translated in terms of monuments or places, but rather with the scents and emotions the landscapes create.
