Livigno: An Experience for the Whole Family

Livigno: An Experience for the Whole Family

18 July 2016

A holiday in the Livigno plateau offers some of the most incredible experiences and the Livigno Card can help you see and do it all. Bringing together the programs available to guests week by week, everything from sports, culture, and food & wine are included. Request the card at your hotel if it’s a member of the program or you can grab it directly at the Tourist Office.

With the Livigno Card you can access the programs of the Kinder Club Lupigno at the play-park of the Scuola Sci Centrale, open from the end of June to the beginning of September every day from 9:00 to 6:00. The daily activities are run by the Kinder Club play leaders. Moreover you can take part in the teaching workshop programs and the Livin’ Sun Park, the play-park in the Lake area created completely with natural materials such as hay and wood.

Thanks to a collaboration with Alpine Guides, the Livigno Card is also a great way to get involved in excursion programs with reduced rates. Over and above trekking, there are the “Adventuring” trails in Val Salient and Valle delle Mine, which consist of zip-lines, cables suspended between the larches, crossings on the torrent and short via ferratas.

Livigno is famous for its nightlife, and with the Livigno Card you can add several themed evenings, from Flavors and Traditions, where you get to know Livigno culture through its cuisine and products, to an evening devoted to entertainment with various shows or to kids’ night with organized activities, right down to the Shopping Evening when the shops stay open late.

There are also advantages if you take part in the teaching farm, the visits to the cowshed, to the pastry and biscuit factory, to the Diorama at the Dairy, to tasting at the brewery, to the laboratory at the Visitors’ Centre at the Stelvio National Park and the Museum at the Swiss National Park. For little kids Livigno is an actual paradise, with adventure playgrounds immersed in nature, where they can climb the larches and be transported on pulleys and cables. “Family Week Kids Go Free”, scheduled for 9th to 16th July, is perfect for families that include children under 12.
