Instagramers in Como
2 May 2016
Just days until our next #inLombardia365 tour on Lake Como and today we’re meeting the Instagramers that will be joining us on this adventure!
Hello everyone! Ado, Tiziano, Luigi, and Matteo, present yourselves to our readers.
My name is Matteo @TotemA_ and I’m a singer (not professional, but music follows me everywhere). Sometimes I’m a bit too serious, and sometimes I’ve got my head in the clouds. I love discovering and visiting new places both near and far. I try to find joy in the big as well as small moments and that which surrounds me. I also jump often… 🙂
Instagram has opened new doors and new worlds for me, allowing me to enter in contact with so many different people that have since become good friends! It’s taken me on countless adventures and showed me so many places that have really made me connect with this region. I’ve also been able to show a bit of myself to the world!
My name is Tiziana, @tizzia, born in Geneva with dual citizenship (Italian and Swiss). I am a painter and illustrator, and since 2010 I have practiced the “art of photography with a mobile device”
Taking photos has always been a passion of mine since the age of 15. It helps me open my eyes to admire the beauty that surrounds me, and I love trying to capture that feeling.
I photograph what I love and I love what I photograph. My shots have been displayed in contemporary art galleries since 2012 in London, Lugano, Pietrasanta, and have also been featured in magazines, and photo contests.
In September, 2015, I organized the first #emptymuseum at the MAH, Geneva Musuem of Art and History, as artistic director and then in February this year at the Museo del Duomo in Firenze.
My name is Luigi, @luigi sutera12, and I’m an image consultant.
I didn’t get into photography until maybe a year ago. Now I’ve begun looking at everything with the vision of someone who speaks to others in a photo.
I’m grateful to Instagram for giving me the opportunity to express myself and combine words with photos to cross boundaries where just one doesn’t do the trick.
I’m shocked, amazed, and amused at how a simple “enter” can create a connection, cross boundaries, and create new friendships that go beyond your expectations.
I am Aldo Corazzini @rossifumi, Tuscan from Versilia, and since September of 2015, I live in Lugano.
During my studies in engineering, I also developed my passion for food and wine that brought me to run Pietrasanta, one of the most prestigious locales in Italy often frequented by artists and famous figures.
My contact with artists led me to become rather artistic myself, and in 2014, I opened a contemporary art gallery in Pietrasanta.
What are you packing for this trip?
There are so many objects I’d like to bring, but since I’m always on the go, I’d have to say comfortable shoes to explore, run, and of course… jump!
In my suitcase, I absolutely have to have my flying hat. It’s a symbol of my adventurous spirit and of my passion and love for everything unkown and exotic. It’s also a reference to my favorite author and aviator, Saint-Exupery, who once said: “Make your life a dream, and the dream a reality”
All ready for take off. I could leave so many things behind, but my mirror, or my eye, arrives where human perception can’t. It’s become my kind of marker (once by chance, but now I’m well aware) and can’t be missing from my suitcase.
Unfortunately I wanted to bring my drone to get some aerial shots, but unfortunately it’s being repaired… Purtroppo volevo portare il mio Drone per fare delle riprese, ma è in assistenza…
Everything on the program looks great so I’m coming with the basics and an open mind to take it all in!
